Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically testing reliability of a dialysis device in an at-home blood dialysis system.
SOLUTION: Blood is transported by a pump from a patient to the dialysis device through an artery side circuit, and returned to the patient through a vein side circuit. This dialysis device is provided with a film having a blood side and a dialysis liquid side. The testing method contains a step for practically eliminating the liquid existing in the blood side of the film, a step for pressurizing the dialysis device by transporting air to the blood side of the film, a step for measuring the pressurization of the dialysis device, a step for measuring attenuation of the pressurization when the dialysis device is pressurized, and a step for showing reliability of the film of the dialysis device with the pressurization and the attenuation.
