Abstract:
To provide compounds and compositions that reduce mRNA and protein expression of ApoCIII for preventing, delaying or ameliorating a cardiovascular disease, disorder, condition or symptom thereof or onset of a cardiovascular disease, disorder, condition or symptom thereof.SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition comprises a compound targeting ApoCIII, a) for treating, preventing, delaying or improving pancreatitis; b) for raising the HDL level and/or improving the ratio of TG to HDL thereby preventing, delaying or ameliorating a cardiovascular disease, disorder, condition or symptom thereof or onset of a cardiovascular disease, disorder, condition or symptom thereof, or reducing the risk thereof; c) for increasing fat clearance, chylomicron triglyceride clearance and/or postprandial triglyceride clearance. In an embodiment of the pharmaceutical composition, the compound is a modified oligonucleotide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
