Abstract:
To provide a moisture absorbing and releasing polyester composition and filament that has an excellent filament physical property, and has a good moisture absorbing and releasing property, high color development property and high sharpness property.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a moisture absorbing and releasing polyester composition comprising polyester whose main repeating unit is composed of ethylene terephthalate and in which, characterized, the content of poly(N-vinyl lactam) in the polyester composition is 3.0 wt% or more and 15.0 wt% or less, containing as titanium element a titanium compound soluble in polyester by 1 ppm or more and 20 ppm or less, and containing a sulfonate group-containing isophthalic acid component by 0.5 mol% or more and 2.0 mol% or less with respect to all dicarboxylic acid components.SELECTED DRAWING: None
