PURPOSE: To mold a foucet and at the same time to seal the hole at the end of the faucet by a method wherein a plastic cap for encircling the inner and outer surfaces of a pipe is provided on the surface of one end of a parforated plastic pipe and the faucet is expanded by heating.
CONSTITUTION: A plastic cap 2 is provided at one end of a perforated plastic pipe P having a number of axial holes 1, 1... in the pipe wall. Next, this pipe end part is heated together with the cap and forced into a metallic mold A for molding the faucet. After the force fit has ended, the cap 2 is pressed by an outer mold a and the cap 2 and the pipe end part are welded thermally. In this method, after the pipe end part is expanded in the shape of the faucet, the faucet is cooled and removed from the metallic mold A. In this case, as a spacer A' removed with the faucet is manufactured by a split structure, it is removed from the metallic mold A, then from the inner part of the faucet.
