To provide a molding method for a fiber-reinforced resin which ensures the elimination of air bubbles in the fiber-reinforced resin and provide a molding die used therefor.
The fiber woven cloths, which are previously impregnated with a resin and stacked into a multilayer, are placed on the die cavity 14 of the die 12. The die 12 has at least one bore hole 22, 32 that connects the die cavity 14 to the outside. If the die 12 is heated and simultaneously the gas 18 in the die cavity 14 is extracted from the bore hole 22, 32, it is possible not only to certainly draw out the air bubbles 18 between the fiber woven cloths that have previously been impregnated with the resin but also to draw out even an excess of the resin. This makes it possible to further improve the mechanical strengths of the product.
