Abstract:
To provide a currency processing device that can shorten a waiting time for withdrawal of change reserves.SOLUTION: A currency processing device includes: a housing; a first cassette mounting portion and a second cassette mounting portion provided in the housing; a first transport unit that deposits currency inside a first cassette mounted on the first cassette mounting portion into the housing; a second transport unit that withdraws currency inside the housing into a second cassette mounted on the second cassette mounting portion as change reserves; and a control unit that controls the first transport unit and the second transport unit. The control unit controls the second transport unit so as to perform the withdrawal processing of the change reserves prior to the deposit processing of currency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
