CONSTITUTION: The monitor camera device, equipped with a solid-state image pickup element which picks up an image of a subject and a pyroelectric element which detects a moving object radiating far infrared rays, is equipped with a support member 3 which has an opening at its lower part and also has its side wall formed of a nearly spherical and elastically deformable material, a nearly spherical easing 6 which is pressed in the opening part of the support member 3, and the pyroelectric element 12 and solid-state image pickup element 15 which are put in the casing 6, which is constituted rotatably in three dimensions around the support member 3.
