To provide a monitoring control system and its testing method capable of detecting efficiently and securely duplicate command mistakes in interface verification tests for a control system.
The system comprises a plurality of sequence control apparatuses 3A and 3B having memory elements corresponding to controlled objects 5A-5F and a command means for supplying command signals by a distributed control system 2 for supplying data to the memory elements, and controls the controlled objects 5A-5F in response to the data supplied to the memory elements of the control apparatuses 3A and 3B. The command signals detect contents of the supplied data to the memory elements and detect presence or absence of receipt of the command signals, and flag creating means for holding the command signals are provided respectively with the control apparatuses 3A and 3B, so that the duplicate command mistakes are detected by detecting results by the flag creating means provided with the control apparatuses 3A and 3B.
