To provide a monitoring control system that supports the initial response of workers when an abnormality occurs in a plant.SOLUTION: A monitoring control system 1 includes a message information storage unit 13 that extracts message information from plant information and adds and stores the time information as the message generation time to the message information, and a display management unit 17 for managing a monitoring screen which displays, when a plant information collection unit 11 indicates that a specific signal interpreted as a plant abnormality has been input to the plant information collection unit 11, the message information extracted from the message information storage unit 13 on a displaying device in a form that shows the relevance of a plurality of plant equipment that have generated the message and in descending order of the number of messages generated within a certain period from the time when the specific signal was input to the plant information collection unit 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
