Abstract:
To provide a monitoring assist device and a data management system which guarantee the authenticity of electronic data output by an existing monitoring device.SOLUTION: Provided is a monitoring assist device applied to a monitoring device that monitors a monitoring target apparatus (imaging means 103), the monitoring assist device comprising: authenticator assessment means for authenticating whether or not an operator is a legitimate user; enablement means for enabling an operation means of a monitoring device; and information acquisition means for acquiring information from the monitoring device. The function of the operation means is enabled by the enablement means only when the operator is authenticated as legitimate by the authenticator assessment means, and an existing monitoring device not having a user authentication function is made to function in only a state of genuine log-ins being guaranteed. The recording of the monitoring target, genuine authentication information and operation information are stored together with time information, and the authenticity of electronic data output by the existing monitoring device is guaranteed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
