Abstract:
To provide a braking device that can maximize the diameter of the centrifugal governor in a substantial cylindrical take-up pipe, thereby having a high speed increase ratio and stable braking force.SOLUTION: A roll screen includes an urging device 16 that rotates a take-up pipe 14 in the direction of winding a screen body and a braking device 17 that controls the rotational speed of the take-up pipe. The braking device has a braking case 26 connected to a side plate 12 and configured to be immovable, a drive shaft 27 rotatably attached to a braking case and driven by the take-up pipe, a centrifugal governor 28 that reduces the rotational speed of the take-up pipe, and a speed increasing device 29 that increases the rotational speed of a drive shaft and transmits the resulting speed to the centrifugal governor. The speed increasing device is configured to change the rotational force of the take-up pipe to a direction inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to its centerline and transmit the resulting force to the centrifugal governor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
