Abstract:

To provide a motor control device capable of protecting a circuit by highly accurately detecting generation of an overcurrent when starting driving of a motor.

A nipping detecting circuit 5 detects that the overcurrent flows to the motor M1 by detecting the temperature of FET for switching on and off of the motor M1 for driving a power window 1. When starting the driving of the motor M1, the FET is turned on and off in a plurality of times, and at this time, when overcurrent flowing time becomes predetermined threshold value time or more, the circuit is cut off by determining that initial nipping is caused when the power window 1 rises. Thus, since the motor M1 can be quickly and highly accurately stopped, safety can be improved.
