Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device and save on a manufacturing cost and further, avoid a wasteful energy loss.
SOLUTION: The motor drive device for an injection molding machine is equipped with a power storage part 3 which stores an electric power and also stores a regenerative power Pr generated by a motor 2 during the speed reduction period Zs of the motor 2 and a power storage circuit 4 which supplies a stored power Ps accumulated in the power storage part 3 to a drive power Pd during the speed acceleration period Zf of the motor 2. In addition, the power storage circuit 4 is equipped with a charging circuit 5 which charges the power storage part 3 at a higher power storage Es than a drive voltage Ed for the motor 2. The power storage circuit 4 also may be equipped with a charging control function part 6 which enables the charging circuit 5 to charge the power storage part 3 upto the power storage voltage Es by making a power supply or before the speed acceleration period Zf of the motor 2 is reached.
