This motor driving device (10), comprising a power supply device (30) that supplies a driving current to a motor (20) and a control unit (110) that controls the power supply device (30), further comprises a measuring unit (100) which measures iron loss corresponding to the iron loss of the motor (20) which is being supplied with the driving current, wherein the power supply device (30) is controlled by the control unit (110) on the basis of the iron loss measured by the measuring unit (100).
