To provide a motor-driven vehicle wherein its fuel battery and the associated appliances thereof can be cooled efficiently by a simple constitution.
The motor-driven vehicle 1 has a seat 3 provided in the nearly central portion of a vehicle body 2, a load-carrying platform 9 provided behind the seat 3 and for storing loads, a frame 7 provided in a front and rear direction under the vehicle body 2, a frame 14 for receiving the load carrying platform 9 and coupled to the frame 7, a motor 36 for driving the vehicle 1, batteries 27 to be the power supply of the motor 36, a fuel battery 30 for charging the batteries 27, fuel tanks 25 connected with the fuel battery 30, a motor controller 37 for driving and controlling the motor 36. In the motor-driven vehicle 1, the fuel tanks 25 are provided in the nearly central portion, along the vehicle-width direction; the fuel battery 30 is provided in the front of the fuel tanks 25 and under the seat 3; a barrier plate 33, having a ventilation opening 34, is interposed between the fuel tanks 25 and the fuel battery 30; and a fan 31 for cooling the fuel battery 30 is provided, and a cooling air is so taken by the fan 31 in a portion 29 for storing the fuel battery 30 so as to be passed backward via an opening 34 of the barrier plate 33.
