At least one of the first step 2a and the second step 2b has a width dimension different between an upper face portion and a lower face portion in a direction along the moving direction of the steps, at least one of the first step 2a and the second step 2b is vertically displaced between the entry port side and the exit port side, and the first step 2a and the second step 2b are displaced relatively and vertically, thereby an interval between first step 2a and second step 2b that are adjacent to each other becomes wider, and a moving speed of the moving sidewalk becomes high.
