Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve spectral resolution for chemical shift information.
SOLUTION: An echo-train signal of which spatial information that is measured by magnetic resonance imaging is encoded is taken in (S1) and the echo- train signal is arranged along a chemical shift axis (S2) then anti-Fourier transformation of an axial direction concerning spatial information is done (S3), a time series data which is obtained by the above process is complemented by extraporation over a fixed range of a time axis direction and creates an extended time series data (S4), the extended time series data is standarized by excepting with an approximate function of the extended time series data (S5), thereby, discontinuity is mitigated or decreased substantially by equalizing a signal level of a starting point and an end point for the extended time series data then chemical shift information is obtained by doing anti-Fourier transformation of the direction of the chemical shift axis on the extended time series data (S7). Thereby, trancation artifact is decreased and spectral resolution for chemical shift information is improved.
