PURPOSE: To obtain a multi-direction order line device with improved cost versus performance ratio by scanning an order line other than the order line for the use of the own station, detecting a call station and connecting a handset to an order line connected with a talking opposite station through the use of the detected output.
CONSTITUTION: Since terminals 1∼n are connected to a buzzer BZ at standby via resistors 2-1∼2-n, a contact 0 of an opposite station detection switch SW-2, a transmission/reception changeover SW3-1, and a ringer detection circuit DET, a call signal incoming to any of the terminals 1∼n through the order line is detected by the DET and the BZ is energized. The maintenance personnel changes over sequentially contacts 1, 2... of the SW-2 and the calling station is identified by the buzzing or the BZ. A handset TR and the order line are connected by connecting the contacts 1, 2 of a channel selection SW-1 corresponding to the call station. Furthermore, the moving contact of the SW-2 is returned to the position 0 to prepare for the calling during talking. In the calling of the other station, the contacts 2, 1 corresponding to a desired station are connected in the SW-1, the SW3-2 is changed over to the position of a ringer oscillator R0 and the signal is transmitted to the desired station.
