Title:
MULTIBEAM LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, OPTICAL SCANNER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3946037
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sure and stable image reproducibility by forming a multibeam light source by using a plurality of general purpose semiconductor lasers.
SOLUTION: The semiconductor lasers 11 and 12 are fitted on a supporting body 15. A supporting projected portion 17 is projectedly formed at the front central portion of the supporting body 15, collimator lenses 13 and 14 are stuck and supported on both sides of the supporting projected portion 17. The length in the direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of the sticking axis line of the collimator lenses 13 and 14 at the supporting projected portion 17 and in the direction substantially parallel to the lens plane with which the optical axis of the collimator lenses 13 and 14 perpendicularly intersects is at least substantially equal to or larger than the outer diameter of the collimator lenses 13 and 14, and an expansion angle &phiv which expands toward the base portion of the supporting projected portion 17 is 10° or larger.
