Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the multicolor printing of high minuteness.
SOLUTION: A multicolor printer comprises a plurality of impression cylinders 8A, 8B and 8C so provided as to be in contact with one another, a plurality of color printing units C1-C4 provided around respective impression cylinders, plate cylinders 4 provided on respective color printing units, UV emission devices 23 provided on the downstream side of respective color printing units, a feed roll 20 feeding printing bases 7 onto the outer peripheral faces of respective impression cylinders and a take-up roll 22 taking up the printing bases 7 from the outer peripheral faces of respective impression cylinders, and metal films 26 are formed on the outer peripheral faces of the impression cylinders through a rubber material 25, and a number of air suction holes 27 are formed outside printing pattern areas on the outer peripheral faces of the impression cylinders.
