Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject woven fabric having a clear pattern or pattern edge and sufficient transparent feeling by using yarn-dyed raw silk or separated yarn as warp yarn and subjecting the yarn to the Jacquard weaving under specific conditions.
CONSTITUTION: Warp yarns having 14-20 denier of fiber or yarn-dyed raw silk or yarn-dyed and separated yarn having at a density of 70-100 yarns per cm are fed and weft yarns of ≤100 denier at a density of 30-55 yarns per cm are fed to carry out the Jacquard weaving. The warp and/or weft yarns of two or more colors are used to provide remarkable multicolor effects.
