To provide a method for preparing a puffed food imparting food with excellent appearance, cake, palate feeling of filling and flavor only by heating a frozen article in a microwave oven, and to provide a food obtained by the method.
The invention relates to the method for preparing the puffed food for microwave cooking comprising charging a first dough for puff in a container, heating with a microwave oven or steaming or freezing, and then charging the filling, charging a second dough for puff, freezing and then heating with the microwave oven, or the method for preparing the dough for microwave cooking comprising charging the first dough for microwave oven added with pregelatinized starch and adjusting to have ≥8000 mPa s of viscosity and ≥0.9 of specific density, charging the filling and then charging the second dough for puffing, freezing then heating with the microwave oven, and to the multilayered puffed food for microwave cooking obtained by those method.
