PURPOSE: To facilitate the multiple color printing on elastic materials by easily and surely registering them without requiring the process of white-paper sticking or the like, by a method wherein each color of printing ink spread over the plate composed of plural pieces is transferred onto a sheet of rubber blanket by registering it and then, is printed on a matter to be printed.

CONSTITUTION: The plate 6 composed of plural lithographies or line photoengravings is formed on one piece of a circular plate cylinder 2, on which different color printing ink is respectively spread. Then, the printing ink is transferred onto a sheet of blanket 3 rotating the plate cylinder 2 by bringing the blanket into contact with the plate cylinder 2. In that case, the printing ink is transferred onto the blanket 3 registering it by regulating the position of plate 6 to that of the blanket 3. Then, said ink is printed onto a matter 5 to be printed from the blanket 3. Because the registering is carried out on the blanket 3 in its transfer to the blanket 3, the registering of multiple colors is certainly made possible regardless of the elasticity of matter 5 to be printed.
