Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the accuracy of measurement by arranging a charge amplifier in the rear of a rotary transmission means and connecting the charge amplifier selectively with a measurement signal connecting section through a switch.

CONSTITUTION: Each measurement signal from a piezoelectric element, i.e., a stress detector, mounting a polarization measuring roller 5 is passed through a measurement signal connecting section 2 to a parallel connection box 6 and a string of measurement signals 7 is outputted therefrom. The string of signals 7 is delivered from a rotary transmitter 4 to a switch 3. More specifically, the switch 3 connects the roller 5 with a computer 10 through an output 9. A charge amplifier 1 outputs 14 a measurement signal received from the switch 3 every time when it is amplified and converts the measurement signal into a DC voltage to be connected with the computer 10. Consequently, the roller 5 can be constituted regardless of the scale or the like of the amplifier 1 and all transmission channels can be utilized for the measurement signal because the voltage is not supplied in the roller 5. According to the arrangement, the stress detector is utilized sufficiently and the accuracy is enhanced.
