Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage cylinder device capable of suppressing a pressure necessary for descending in no-load state low in spite of the increased number of stages of piston rods.
SOLUTION: A low-load lowering selector valve 73 is connected to an outermost contraction side chamber. The contraction side chamber is communicated with a tank T or a pressure source P in accordance with the switching position of the low-load lowering selector valve 73. A relief valve is placed in a passage to connect the outermost contraction side chamber and an inner extending side chamber.
