To provide a multistory warehouse for plate-shaped bodies having good workablity for preparing materials, from which necessary members can be quickly taken out, by solving problems of conventional stockers used for housing plate-shaped bodies like steel plates, for example, a flat pallet-type stocker or a book vault-type stocker for housing plates in a flatbed state in a longitudinal direction, which is inconvenient for drawing out a member from the lower part of piled plates, frequently happening in various types of small amount production where small quantity of plates are used in every size.

The multistory warehouse for plate-shaped bodies comprises a plurality of storage bodies respectively having a plurality of partitions in a vertical direction in order to house the plate-shaped bodies standing in a longitudinal direction. The multistory warehouse has moving base floor members capable of adjusting height of a storage body to the vertical direction according to width of a plate-shaped body. The respective storage bodies can move independently in vertical and transverse directions along rails of a frame body constituted in three dimensions.
