Abstract:
To obtain R(+)-N-propargyl-1-aminoindane, its pharmaceutically acceptable salt and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same.
This method for treating patients suffering from Parkinson's disease, a memory disorder, dementia, depression, hyperactive syndrome, an affective illness, a neurodegenerative disease, a neurotoxic injury, brain ischemia, a head trauma injury, a spinal trauma injury, schizophrenia, an attention deficit disorder, multiple sclerosis or withdrawal symptoms comprises using R(+)-N- propargyl-1-aminoindane or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. This method for preventing nervous damage of patient is provided. Finally this method for producing R(+)-N-propargyl-1-aminoindane, its salt and racemic isomer is provided.
