Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deposition of urea in an exhaust passage and other reaction products by adjusting a timing when a reducing agent is injected.SOLUTION: An NOx removal device 300 includes: an NOx removal catalyst 314 disposed at a cylinder comprising an engine, positioned at the downstream of an exhaust passage communicated with the cylinder via an exhaust valve for exhausting exhaust gas generated at the engine, and reducing the exhaust gas; a reducing agent injecting part 310 for injecting a reducing agent into the exhaust passage; and an injection controlling part 312 connected with a piston sliding in the cylinder, and controlling the reducing agent injecting part to start the injection of the reducing agent from when the rotational angle of a crank for converting the reciprocating movement of the piston to rotational force changes from an angle in which the exhaust valve is opened to a predetermined degree.
