Title:
AIR COOLING EQUIPMENT UTILIZING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3034432
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare low temperature air without using a refrigerant like fluorocarbon by providing a turbo-charger in an exhaust pipe line, an exhaust cooler in a turbine inlet of the turbo-charger and an air cooling heat exchanger for exchanging heat with load side air in a turbine outlet.
CONSTITUTION: Exhaust precooled by an air-exhaust heat exchangers 6 and heat exchanger 7 enters a turbine 4 of a turbo-charger and giving a turning force thereto while adiabatically expanding to enter a pipe line port. The exhaust after the passage through the turbine 4 is branched from the pipe line port into a branch pipe (C) having an air cooling heat exchanger 8 interposed therein for indirectly exchanging heat between the exhaust and load side air and a branch pipe (D) having a supplied air cooling heat exchanger 11 interposed therein for sending the supplied air through a compressor 5 of the turbo-charger 2 to an exhaust cooled engine 1. The exhaust which has passed through the air cooling heat exchanger 8 and/or the supplied air cooling heat exchanger 11 is joined together cools the exhaust by an exhaust-exhaust heat exchanger 7 before it enters the turbine 4 and then is exhausted through a pipe line (F).
