Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a correct judgement on the collision by eliminating the drift of a deceleration sensor without using a troublesome adjustment or a complicate judging method.
CONSTITUTION: A collision detecting device is provided with a drift component extracting circuit 2 to extract the drift component from the deceleration signal to be outputted from a deceleration detecting means 1, holding circuits 4, 6, C1 to hole the output signal of the drift component extracting circuit 2 when the holding command is inputted, and holding command outputting circuit 5, R1, R2 to detect the string of the collision and output the holding command to the holding circuits 4, 6, C1, and the drift component is subtracted from the deceleration signal until the holding command is outputted. A subtracting circuit 3 to subtract the holding signal from the deceleration signal after the holding command is outputted, and a collision judging circuit 7 to judge the collision of a vehicle based on the deceleration signal of this subtraction result are provided.
