PURPOSE: To obtain an attraction carrier for affinity chromatography with improved adsorption and resolution performances per unit volume of a support.

CONSTITUTION: An adsorption carrier for affinity chromatography allows ligand to be fixed to a support which is insoluble to water through a connection group with a functional group such as amino group with a high reactivity, carboxyl group, or acid anhydride. This adsorption carrier allows a ligand which is several to several tens times larger than that of a conventional attraction carrier to be fixed to the support through a connection group with a functional group having a high reactivity and further this adsorption carrier has a resolution which is better than the conventional adsorption carrier regarding an attraction carrier with an equal amount of ligand.
