PURPOSE: To provide a sliding base isolation type marine structure having proper sliding resistance in response to the environmental load and ground condition via the contact pressure adjusting function of a double bottom plate structure portion while maintaining stability as a a gravitational force type structure, allowing a slide on a contact face against the prescribed horizontal external force or above, and excellent in safety.
CONSTITUTION: The bottom plate portion of a gravitational force type marine structure is separated into a main body side bottom plate 3 and a foundation side bottom plate 2 supporting it. The outer periphery between the foundation side bottom plate 2 and the main body side bottom plate 3 is sealed by an O-ring 59 or the like, and the gap of the contact face between the foundation side bottom plate 2 and the main body side bottom plate 3 is connected to a constant water level pit 51 by a pipe. When the contact pressure is adjusted by the water level of the constant water level pit 51, proper sliding resistance is obtained. The stability of the gravitational force type structure is maintained by the sliding resistance against the wave, tidal current, and wind having a high occurrence frequency, and a slide on the contact face between the foundation side bottom plate 2 and the main body side bottom plate 3 is allowed against the horizontal external force of a designed earthquake or above.
