Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress a change in an air-fuel ratio so as to prevent deterioration in operativity by gradually varying a learning value until a start of new learning of an air-fuel ratio complying with a condition after a switch when a purge condition of fuel vapor is switched to a stop of a purge or to a reverse condition.
CONSTITUTION: A control unit 10 controls a fuel injection valve 6 on the basis of an air-fuel ratio deviation when it is detemtined that it is in an air-fuel ratio feedback control area. In a learning value calculating means, a learning value which corrects the central value for a feedback correction factor so as to bring it close to the reference value is respectively set in each of a fuel vapor purge duration and a non-fuel vapor purge duration, and each learning value is separately recorded. When a purge condition is switched to a purge stop by a purge ON-OFF determining means, a learning value used for setting of an injection pulse width is calculated so as to be gradually switched from a learning value in a purge condition before a switch to a learning value set in the prevous purge stop.
