Abstract:
PURPOSE: To construct a display system capable of operating flat panel type display in accordance with display timing of a CRT.
CONSTITUTION: Data are stored once in a frame buffer memory 3 and then read out to display on a LCD panel 5, in order to operate the LCD panel 5 according to the display timing of a CRT 6 since the LCD panel 5 itself cannot be operated in accordance with display timing of it. Also an image is displayed on a part of the LCD panel 5 for multiple display resolutions supported by the CRT6 to obtain a display of low resolution.
