PURPOSE: To perform positioning of two-main spindle in synchronism with each other during synchronous control of the main spindles and to perform individual positioning in an arbitrary position.
CONSTITUTION: When an orientation command is issued, an orientation starting speed SORPC 2 forms a movement command at an ITP period and linear acceleration deceleration 10 is effected. The movement command is divided into movement commands classified by a position loop by means of a divider 12. Further, bell type acceleration deceleration 21 is effected and a main spindle motor is run through position loop control. When an output SYITP of the linear acceleration deceleration 10 attains an orientation starting speed SORPC 2, the input of the distributor is switched to linear acceleration deceleration 28 during orientation. In linear acceleration deceleration during orientation, by subtracting a non-output movement amount by bell type acceleration deceleration, a present position in one full rotation, and a position error by a non-output movement amount from a value obtained by adding a phase synchronous shift amount to a command stop point position, a remaining movement amount to a command stop position is determined and set as an initial value.
