Title:
HANGING BRACKET FOR GONDOLA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0718844
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To disperse loads so as to prevent concentration of the loads in leverage fashion by using a pivoting pin attached to a pair of brackets to support a vertical load applied to a supporting block, and using a pulling rope secured to a building to support via the supporting block and a post a load applied to a hanging rope.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of brackets 9 is secured to a parapet 6. A post 14 is attached to the pair of brackets by means of a bolt 10 serving as a pivoting pin. A pulling rope 15 attached to a bracket 13 is secured to a building 2. A vertical arm 20 and a horizontal arm 22 are projected from a support 18 located on a gondola supporting block 16, to support a hanging rope 5 for hanging a gondola. The post 14 and the supporting block 16 are held in position by means of a reinforcing arm 17. The bolt 10 serving as a pivoting pin supports the vertical load of the gondola, and the pulling rope 15 supports loads exerted from other directions. Therefore, no great load is applied in leverage fashion and the hanging bracket can be manufactured at low cost.
