Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce noise generated in the vicinity of slit portions of a commutator during operations of a built-in motor type pump device.
CONSTITUTION: A pump unit and a DC motor are enclosed in a casing 1. A gap space 31 is provided between a brush holder 4 provided on one end of the casing 1 and a terminal holder 5 covering the brush holder 4 as a silencing chamber. The gap space 31 is connected to the inner space of the casing 1 through a penetrating hole 32. Thereby fluid intercepting sound generated in the vicinity of slit portions 20 of a commutator 18 of the DC motor can be absorbed in the gap space 31 to reduce noise generated from the whole pump device.
