Title:
MECHANISM FOR PREVENTING IDLE HITTING OF WIRE IN BUNDLING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3050516
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely start a bundling operation immediately after charging a wire by a method wherein, in a charge mode in which a wire for bundling reinforcing bars is fed into a bundling machine, a control means is provided to halt a wire feed device when the forward end of wire has been sent to a predetermined location, thereby to prevent idle hitting of wire.
SOLUTION: If a charge mode of operation is performed, in which a user newly charges a bundling machine with a reel 7 wound with wire 1 and inserts the forward end of wire 1 into a guide groove 15 to turn on a power source switch while pulling a trigger 8, MPU 10 recognizes the charge mode based on the fact that the switch has been turned on with the trigger 8 pulled. As a result, a wire feed device 2 including a motor 20 is actuated to send out the wire 1. MPU judges whether or not a sensor 12 has sensed the wire 1 and when the forward end of wire 1 has reaches the sensor 12, it judges that the end of wire 1 has reached a predetermined location and cuts off feed of voltage to the motor 20 to halt the device 2, whereby a charge treatment is completed.
