PURPOSE: To collect a sample to study a mixing state of a plurality of kinds of powders from a container containing a mixed body of the plurality of kinds of powders having different particle size and components.
CONSTITUTION: One side is opened as a sample collecting surface 23, and the opposite side to the collecting surface is a closed surface 24 in a collecting member 4 in the form of a box. Normally, the collecting surface 23 is turned upward in the horizontal posture. When the collecting member 4 is rotated in the vertical direction with the closed surface 24 faced frontward, segregated powder of smaller diameter layered on the upper surface of a mixed powdery matter in a container 5 is brushed aside by the closed surface 24. Then, by turning the collecting member 4 with the collecting surface 23 faced front, the mixed powdery matter without the segregated powder can be collected.
