Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a new type of shield wire effectively.
CONSTITUTION: A plural grooved rollers 11, 12, 13, 14 are disposed in the running direction of a harness (H) and a metal foil tape (T). For a device for winding the metal foil tape along the length of the harness for manufacturing a shield wire, the tape is disposed to form a smaller angle than 180deg. by a little angle α on the roller side before and after the grooved rollers, and a tension controlling device (40) for keeping a tape tension at a predetermined value is provided. Because the long tape is wound along the length of the harness vertically, the shield wire can be manufactured at a high speed, and the shield wire can effectively be manufactured at a low cost.
