Abstract:
PURPOSE: To generate pitch data (coarse pitch data) wherein pitches of about half tone intervals of a played register are set to specific individual values with small memory capacity and to generate fine pitch data which are used for the entire register.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU 1 reads coarse pitch data corresponding to pitch information out of a storage part 3 on the basis of the pitch information inputted from an input part 2 through playing operation. Further, fine pitch data in a specific octave are read out of the storage part 3 and processed to find fine pitch data corresponding to the inputted pitch information. Then the coarse pitch data and fine pitch data are added together to generate pitch data.
