Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device having flexibility in the generation of tone and announcement message code.
CONSTITUTION: A sequencer 22 controls a message memory 16 so as to supply the selected tone and voice announcement through a serial interface 24 of the selected TDM channel. All the repartries of tone and announcement are downloaded from a central memory 12B in telephone exchange system 12, and the voice message of customer designation from the arbitrary channel of the telephone exchange system is stored in the message memory 16 for much slower local reproduction or uploading to the central memory 12B. The tone and announcement are equally processed and simultaneously selected beforehand for channels for maximizing the flexibility of system.
