PURPOSE: To obtain a function for effectively ventilating a shoe cabinet by a simple structure using the rear of a door.

CONSTITUTION: In a shoe cabinet 1 which has a door 11 in an opening at the front of a body 2, a recess 12 which is vertically open is provided over almost the entire surface of the rear of the door 11. The door 11 at the rear of which the recess 12 is provided is in front of the base plate 3 of the body 2, and is connected to its side plate 5 with a hinge. The upper end of the door 11 and the top board 6 of the body 2 create therebetween a ventilation space 16 which continues from the recess 12 and is open forward. Thus, by a simple structure in which the recess 12 is provided by the use of the rear of the door 11, the function of effectively ventilating the shoe cabinet 1 can be obtained. Since the door 11 is in front of the base plate 3 of the body 2 and the ventilation space 16 between the upper end of the door 11 and the top board 6 is open forward, active ventilation can be ensured.
