Title:
TORQUE DETECTOR AND TORQUE MEASURING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2566709
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce cost by simplifying structure and to detect torque with high reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A ferromagnetic converter 4 having magnetic response is provided in an axially extending shaft 8 and uniaxial magnetic anisotropy having a circumferential direction as an almost axial line 10 and a magnetic pole in a circumferential direction are applied to the converter 4. The converter 4 receives a twist stress by the torque 12 applied to the shaft 8 and is attached to the shaft 8 so as to form a magnetic field changed by the shaft 18. A magnetic field vector sensor 6 for detecting the amplitude of the magnetic field generated by the torque 12 and supplying the electric signal showing the torque 12 is provided at the vicinal position of the converter 4.
