Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce hardware and software on the side of an inspection device, and to reduce inspection time by allowing a robot controller side to inspect itself based on a program stored in a memory means in advance and then judging to see if it is good or not.
CONSTITUTION: An inspection execution software for inspecting the function of a robot controller 18 being linked to the sequencer of an inspection device is incorporated into a ROM 66 of the robot controller 18 and further an inspection result software is built in the ROM 66 for storing the inspection result in a RAM 68. When a signal is introduced into a CPU 62 via an interface 59 for teaching box and a bus line 64, a specific function inspection is performed based on the program and data stored a ROM 66 and RAM 68, accordingly, thus judging good or not and thereby, simplifying the hardware configuration at the inspection device side and reducing software.
