Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new benzoxazole derivative useful as an antiemetic agent, an enterokinetic adjustor, anxiety remitting agent, an analgesic, and a therapeutic agent for schizophrenia, having excellent serotonin 5-HT3 acceptor antagonism.
CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula 1 or formula 2 (R1 to R4 are H, alkyl and alkenyl which may be replaced, halogen, OH, OH, NH3, alkoxy, carboxy, carbamoyl, NO2 or any of two are mutually bonded to form 3- to 6-membered ring comprising only carbon atoms or carbon atoms and 1-2 hetero atoms; R5 and R6 are alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl or alkoxycarbonyl which may be replaced or mutually bonded to form 3- to 6-membered ring comprising carbon atoms and 1-2 nitrogen atoms; X- is halogen, acetate anion, etc.; m and n are 1-3) such as 2-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)benzoxazole. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula 3 (Y is halogen) with an N- substituted alicyclic diamine of formula 4.
