Abstract:
To provide a new betain ester or a polymer of the betain ester, having good adhesive properties to the hair, and also imparting comfortable perfume thereto over a long period.
This compound is represented by general formula (I). The homopolymer of the compound, the copolymer of the compound with a compound represented by general formula (II), and the use of them in a hair conditioning agent are also provided. (In the formulas, Ra is an unsaturated group having CO; Rb-g are each an alkyl group; Rx, y are each H; Rw is H or CH3; Rz is an ester group or an amide group; X is O or the like; k and l are each a number of 1-4; m is a number of 0-100; and A is an anion).
