Abstract:
To provide electrode materials.SOLUTION: The present invention provides electrode materials (B) capable of performing redox reactions by exchange of alkaline ions and electrons with an electrolyte. The applications are in the field of primary (secondary) electrochemical generators, super capacitors and a super capacitor type light modulating device. One electrode material comprises a complex oxide representing the following general formula: AMZONF, where A includes an alkaline metal; M includes at least one kind of transition metal, and optionally at least one kind of non-transition metal or a mixture thereof; Z includes at least kind of non-metal; O is oxygen; N is nitrogen; and F is fluorine; the coefficients a, m, z, o, n and f are zero or larger, which are selected to ensure electrical neutrality. In the electrode material, a conductive carbonaceous material is deposited homogeneously on a surface of the material, whereby a substantially regular electric field distribution can be obtained on the surface of material particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
