Abstract:
To provide a new compound having activity enhancement action for antifungal agents such as polyene macrolide-based drug and azole-based drug.
The compound is produced by incubating simplicillium sp-FKI-4981 which is a microbe having capability of producing FKI-4981B substance expressed by formula [I], and has activity enhancement action for antifungal agent such as polyene macrolide-based drug and azole-based drug, so that the compound works on a number of fungal infectious diseases including deep mycosis at a low concentration and in a short period, it is useful for reducing the appearance frequency of resistant bacteria and also utility for tolerance is expected.
