Abstract:

To provide a non-contact power supply system that can detect metal existing between a power supply device and a load device without providing communication means between the power supply device and the load device.

A non-contact power supply system comprises: a primary coil 23 for power supply; a secondary coil 33; a first electrode 241 provided in a power supply device 2 and placed opposite to a load device 3; a second electrode 34 provided in a load device 3 and placed opposite to the first electrode 241; an AC power supply 37 for supplying voltage for detection to the second electrode 34 to detect electrostatic capacity C1 produced by oppositely placing the first electrode 241 and the second electrode 34 each other; an IV conversion circuit 271 connected to the first electrode 241 and for detecting the electrostatic capacity C1; and a determination unit 28 for determining whether there is metal or not between the first electrode 241 and the second electrode 34 based on the electrostatic capacity C1 detected by the IV conversion circuit 271.
